Live Video Q&A with Semenuk, McCaul, and Shandro! - Replay!

by Mike Levy
Nov 16, 2010 at 13:31

Do you have questions for Brandon Semenuk, Cam McCaul, and Andrew Shandro? Pinkbike will be hosting a live video Q and A session with Trek's heavy hitters tomorrow (November 17th) at 1PM Pacific time. Ask Brandon what it's like to win Rampage, get the latest on Cam's recovery from the man himself, or find out from Shandro what it's like to help Trek develop their long travel bikes.

Watch the Re-Broadcast!

You need to upgrade your Flash Player

- Ask Cam, Brandon or Shandro your questions below.

- Tomorrow (Wednesday) at 1pm PST they will all be live on camera to answer your questions.

- Question format:
• @Name - Question ( example. @Cam - How is your leg feeling these days? )
• One question per comment
• Prop up your favorite questions and those will be given a higher chance of being asked

At 1 pm Pacific time tomorrow we'll have Brandon Semenuk, Cam McCaul, and Andrew Shandro live on camera from Trek headquarters to answer questions exclusively from Pinkbike users. Having spent the last few seasons on a custom slope bike that is handmade in Trek's Waterloo, USA, fabrication shop, the boys are busy evaluating a few new versions of the bike. Lucky for us they are taking some time out of their day to answer your questions.

Wondering what it's like to travel the world to ride? How do they deal with the pressure to perform? Just want to give the boys some kudos for an amazing video segment? Put whatever you've got in the comment section and have it answered by them live on camera!

Shandro, Cam, and Brandon in Trek's U.S. fabrication shop.

@Cameron - How much did you train to gain this much skill which made you pro? You probably thought in your head everyday, how am i gonna make it pro, there are so many other riders out there with the same dream, but i know you didnt care about that, i know all you did was focus on yourself, and that's what inspires me

@Brandon - How many of your tricks did you learn in a foam pit? A lot of your tricks are so big and unique, did you just get them right in the first couple tries on dirt, or did you spend days at the Airdome perfecting them?

@all - obviously we need brand run competitions like crankworx and rampage for industry progression, more money in circulation etc., but would you like to see/take part in more rider run comps like bearclaw invitational?
personally I think some sort of big mountain, north shore rampage style (i.e. the whole building your own line thing) would be epic if that makes sense?
Although I'm british I don't strictly mean wood work, I mean BC north shore, like the wade simmons section in NWD8 and kinda Brandon's section in Follow me with Stevie smith, I think its great when there are complete mixtures of riders at comps, everything from DJers to DHers to trials riders
sorry for a really wordy question might just need summarising

SO my question is do you feel like you've had the perfect season and really showed your full potential or was this the season where you suddenly just exploded and took your riding to a whole new level.
