Anthony's front flip was the highlight for me. I honestly had a feeling that he might go for a front flip off that, just because I seen him practicing front flips in the foam pit off the drop, and cuz he's just a crazy kid.
So when he did that, I was surprised just to see it, but I also just thought, yup... he's crazy, and he's going far.

People were hardly tricking the first drop, so the front flip was probably the biggest trick pulled. His crash is similar to Semenuk's last year, who knows what would've happened if he had landed it and not crashed.

Anthonys front flip for sure, It had to happen after the crash at claymore on the front flip!

if anthony never crashed, added like a barspin onto the satellite dish and finished his run like his first i recon he would have won Smile

Messere was off the chain, but you can't ignore the smoothness of Semenuk's run: A deserved win

Its bores me to see the same things out of semenuk every time though, hes not throwing anything huge like a double flip or a front flip.
Not saying thats bad because it gets him the wins, its just not as good to watch.

Semenuk's flipwhip/stepdown was so smooth! that was probably the difference at the end of the day. Everyone is so overwhelmed by messere's tricks/boosting they have forgotten to mention how f*ing smooth he is. I actually think he was one of the most stylish and flowy riders I've seen yet.

@ c-bernier. I agree but I think that if Messere finished his run well it would have put him in first place and made Semenuk have to step it up. The picture of Anthony boosting is massive but it doesn't do justice to what it looked like in real life!

None of this is done justice by pictures, you had to be there to get the full affect of how crazy it really was!

are we just gonna ignore McCaul's front superman ?! For me that and anthony's tailwhip over the huge first whip really made it

McCauls run- it is underrated for sure. Maybe if he did a super flip to finish he would have been up in the top. To win c-worx you need to be 100% healthy.... gotta have a ton of respect for his run with the injury.

So many things - need a list:
- Anthony's whole first run, most of us didn't see it coming and it was sick, as well as his front flip and boosted hip jump
- Semenuks winning run was just pure class, tricked everything and made it look easy
- McCauls front Superman
- Montgomery's leg through the bar thing would have been awesome
- Pilgrims horrible bad luck was a big story
- Andreu's double back
- Zink's off axis front on the final drop

This was such a great event, I could go on and on with things that got me stoked.

the claw is still really sick and is def one of my fav riders of all time but i do feel like he isnt in that top 5 anymore. he is more of a top 10 guy which is still f*cking awesome. I think the claw could get back up to being a top 5 again if he would just stop hurting himself. now if your not bailing then ur not progressing i say so once hes healed up he will banging as hard or even better then the rest of them.

Anthony Mass air eh !!.. kid damn near scooped the big cheque with that display...all the fronties were unreal !... as was the super Spanards double back & Mike Monty's bar hop backflip attempt, combo tricks gallore...Solid full tricked run iced with a textbook flip whip was a worthy win, but Brandon's lucky the boy lost it falling out of orbit cause he bagged it with that fronty start final run on my score card... ALL riders dealt spectacular displays of super human cycling skills way beyond what anyone imagined possible when i was 15.

for myself watching messere destorying every feature and the front flip which i was only about 50 feet away from was the highlight of the finals... that being said i loved watching how pumped andreau got the crowd and himself everytime he landed a huge trick... that guy can rip. i also thought geoff gulevich and greg watts were arguably the most consistent riders as they landed every trick they did with ease and style. geoff had some of the smoothest corkflips ive seen.

No one mentions Anthony's flip whip and SMOOTH flat 3... these alone were amazing... he wouldn't had crashed he would have: front off the grnaly drop - über stylish flat 3 - huge back - huge tail whip on the hip - HUGE AND STYLISH air - tail whip - and huge flip tail whip... there's no question he would have won!!! Every trick beside the dish was higher than the others...

If Sam Pilgrim didnt have such bad luck I reckon that he would have won but thats life. To be fair though I think Semenuk did deserve the win but Anthony Messere's front flip from flat was just amazing along with his height off of the dirt quarter. Everyone rode amazingly well but the front blew my mind so that has my vote!

no offence to you cause your brittish or what ever but i dont think sam pilgrim is a crankworx rider yet, to me he seems like a big trick machine street rider. but i almost cried when messere crashed, he deserved to win and was offered a perfect score if he finnished his run. his boosts were for sure the highlight for me though!

flag adirtjumper2010 (Jul 25, 2011 at 23:53)
I dont follow Sam Pilgrim because Im British, I follow him because when he first got sponsored by Diamondback I started watching his videos on Youtube and ive watched him improve his riding for the past 2-3 years and to be fair to him, NS haven't really established themselves as a company who are good at making slopestyle bikes but as the bike gets better for the job, so will the rider. If Anthony hadnt crashed then he probably would have won but Semenuk's "tricking every jump" run was amazing. The best moment defiantly does go to Anthony because of the flat front and his boosts though!
